Artist: Paul Scott, lives and works in Cumbria (England).
Paul Scott’s blue and white ceramics have become famous the world over and are part of some of the most highly-reputed international collections.Paul was also professor of ceramics at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts from 2011 to 2018, as well as writing works on printing techniques on ceramics and being the recipient of a whole host of awards.
His works are designed to give voice to his commitments and send messages as a reaction to current political events. He also has a passion for reinterpreting familiar objects such as this piece, which is a representation of classic porcelain in trompe l’oeil style.
